Sapota

Sapote is a large evergreen tree with a fruit that is 10 to 25 cm long. The fruit has pink, orange, or red flesh and a sandpaper-like brown skin. The creamy flesh has a sweet, complex flavor and ripens to a salmon color. The tree’s leaves are pointed and 4 to 12 inches long.
