Spathiphyllum

Commonly called White sail plant or peace lily. Permanent perennial ever green plants. The leaves are thin, smooth and narrow edged. Reaches 30 centimetres in length and 6 in width growing out of the rhizome roots. Stems are bamboo-like grows longer than the leaves. Flowers are white, oval shaped and grows in spring and sometimes fall. Flowers change colour to pale green with age and with ideal light it can stay for 2 months maximum.
